GroundScore measures how visible your website is to AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. We scan your site, score it across three pillars (Authority & Trust, Site Readiness, and AI Presence), and give you a ranked action plan to improve.

25Add a site from Sites → Add Site and enter the domain (e.g., example.com). GroundScore runs the first scan automatically; there's no button to press. It usually takes 1 to 3 minutes, then your score and ranked action plan appear. After that, scans run automatically on your plan's schedule.
Your GroundScore is a 0-100 composite score based on three pillars: Authority & Trust (structured data, backlink signals, brand mentions), Site Readiness (technical SEO, crawlability, page speed), and AI Presence (how AI engines reference and describe your site). Each pillar contributes to your overall score.
GroundScore scans automatically on a schedule; there's no manual scan button. Pro scans every two weeks; Agency scans weekly. Adding a new site triggers an immediate first scan. AI visibility checks run weekly on every paid plan.
Your score changes when AI engines update how they reference your site, when you make site changes that affect crawlability or structured data, or when competitive dynamics shift. Check the 'What Changed This Scan' section on any scan report to see exactly what moved and why.
GroundScore performs a comprehensive check: we crawl your site, analyze your structured data, query multiple AI engines, compare against competitors, and generate a ranked action plan. This thorough approach takes 1-3 minutes but gives you much more actionable results than a quick surface-level check.
After each scan, GroundScore generates a ranked list of specific improvements for your site. Actions are prioritized by expected impact on your AI visibility. Each action includes the exact issue, what to fix, and the expected difficulty level.
For eligible action items, click 'Fix This' and GroundScore generates the fix for you. Once it's ready you can copy it, download it as a file, or, with WordPress or Shopify connected, publish it straight to your site.
Power-Ups are pre-built fixes that GroundScore can generate and deploy for common issues like missing robots.txt, sitemap.xml, organization schema, and more. They appear on your site detail page and in scan reports next to fixable items.
Upgrade to the Agency plan. Your dashboard automatically switches to the agency view with multi-client management. Add client sites, run scans, and generate branded reports. Set your agency logo and accent color in Settings.
The client portal is a branded, read-only page you can share with each client. It shows their latest scan results with your agency branding. Generate a portal link from any site's detail page. Clients can also download a PDF report from the portal.
Go to Settings and set your agency logo URL and accent color. These appear on client portal pages and PDF reports. Your clients see your brand, not GroundScore's. Available on the Agency plan.
Grow is your agency growth hub: one tab with everything for winning and keeping clients: Diagnose prospects, Find Leads, manage your Pipeline, work the Playbook, set up your Lead Widget, and Learn GroundScore. It's available on Agency plans.
Open Grow → Diagnose and enter any domain (plus an optional business name, category, and location). In about 30 seconds you'll see the prospect's AI Visibility score, the competitors AI names instead of them, the buyer questions they're absent from, and a fix plan to pitch. Download a branded snapshot to send, or add the prospect to your pipeline.
Open Grow → Find Leads, enter a business category and a location, and GroundScore pulls real local businesses to pitch. Send any one straight to Diagnose to see how invisible it is to AI. Coverage comes from free public map data, so the number of results and listed websites varies by area.
Grow → Pipeline is a drag-and-drop board that tracks every prospect from first scan to signed client. Drag cards across Scanned → Contacted → Proposed → Won, and set a monthly value on a card to track potential and won revenue. Prospects you diagnose land here automatically.
Grow → Lead Widget gives you an embeddable, branded AI-visibility scanner for your own website. Visitors run a quick check and become leads in your list. Set the widget name, accent color, and notification email, then copy the embed snippet onto your site.
Grow → Learn (GroundScore 101) is an in-app guide to running an AI visibility practice: how the score works, the Prospect → Onboard → Operate lifecycle, and step-by-step how-tos for scanning, deploying Power-Ups, sharing reports, and more.
New customers can choose Business ($199 per month: one monitored business site) or Agency ($499 per month: three monitored client sites included, then $149 per month for each additional active site). Both start with a 14-day trial: a card is required at checkout, you pay $0 today, the exact charge date is shown at checkout and in Billing, and canceling before then means you are not charged. Existing customers keep their current plan, price, and billing exactly as they are.
Go to Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep full access until then. On the current Business and Agency plans there is no self-serve plan switch yet; contact support and we will handle the change for you. Existing customers on earlier plans keep the behavior described above.
Go to Billing and click 'Cancel Plan'. You can choose to pause your subscription for a month instead of canceling. If you cancel, you lose access to all GroundScore features. Your data is preserved for 90 days.
Yes. The GroundScore REST API lets you pull your sites, scan history, and AI Monitor results into your own dashboards, and subscribe to webhooks so scan and AI check events push to your endpoint as they happen. Create a key in Settings under API keys, granting only the scopes your integration needs, then follow the reference at groundscore.ai/docs/api. The full key is shown once, at the moment you create it, so copy it somewhere safe.
Go to Settings to update your agency logo URL and accent color. The logo should be HTTPS and is displayed at max 120×40px on reports. The accent color (hex format like #00E5C0) is applied to score badges and section headers on shared reports.
Yes. Go to Settings and click 'Download My Data' to export a JSON file containing your profile, sites, scan scores, and billing history.
Go to Settings and scroll to 'Delete Account'. Type your email to confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data, and cancels your Stripe subscription immediately. This cannot be undone.
